Artificial Intelligence

All of us at The Briggs Institute, Inc. want to make sure that we are integrating any technology that helps promote continued improvement in the quality of our services.

Our use of the latest in artificial intelligence (AI) technology allows us to operate with greater efficiency and higher quality. Oftentimes our work with AI is behind-the-scenes, informing and improving therapist supervision and consultation meetings. Other times, we are combining our knowledge with AI tools to help us generate research-based psychoeducation resources that clients can use to inform the decisions they are making both inside and outside of session.

Existing AI resources are not designed to store and manage identifiable patient information (e.g., name, address, initials, etc.) according to industry standards. Identifiable patient information is protected health information (PHI) according to the law and must be handled with extreme care. Because of this, it is Institute policy to never share PHI with AI resources.
