Emma Peebles, AMFT
“I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.” Growth, depth, and hope flourish when others walk alongside you—we were simply not meant to do this alone. My desire is to create this experience for those needing help, because I know how valuable and necessary it is to have someone supporting you along the way. Through an intentional and collaborative relationship, I aim to be a tool and resource that helps shine light where you are experiencing darkness by tailoring our work to your specific needs and goals.

Therapist Experience
My clinical experience includes work with a variety of individuals, couples, and family systems: from anxious new mothers, young adults navigating life transitions, couples wanting to strengthen their relationship, and more. I am trained as a Prepare/Enrich certified facilitator, Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 therapist, and Cognitive Processing Therapy Web 2.0 clinician. My educational and clinical experiences have prepared me to walk alongside my clients and provide a space for their exploration and growth.
Therapy Interests
My clinical experience includes working with a range of populations, from women navigating substance abuse recovery to couples seeking to strengthen their bond. My background in family science allowed me to provide care in women's shelters, assisted living homes, and community centers, serving those facing significant life stressors. These experiences showed me the vital role of connection on the road to healing. My educational and clinical background has prepared me to be a steady, caring presence, providing a dependable and trustworthy space for your exploration and growth.
My areas of special clinical interest include: eating disorders and ED recovery, PTSD and complex trauma, OCD, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem, as well as couples conflict and relationship strengthening. My practice is evidence-based and collaborative, drawing from specialized theoretical orientations including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), the Gottman Method, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
