Kate Baugher, AMFT
I am a thoughtful and compassionate person who values helping people navigate life’s complexities with greater clarity and self-awareness. Many people seek therapy during seasons of stress, uncertainty, or transition, and I aim to provide a supportive, grounded environment where clients feel comfortable slowing down and making sense of what they are experiencing. I believe meaningful change often begins when people reconnect with their strengths, values, and sense of direction.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and shaped by the needs of each person I work with. Because every story is different, I tailor my process to reflect each client’s goals, values, and circumstances. I am especially interested in the connection between the mind, body, and spirit, and how emotional stress can influence overall well-being. Difficult experiences and unresolved trauma often impact more than our thoughts and feelings; they can also show up physically in the body. Therapy can help bring awareness to these connections while supporting greater balance and healing.

Therapist Experience
I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families of all ages in both private practice and nonprofit, community-based counseling settings. In these roles, I have worked with a wide range of clients from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and life backgrounds.
Working in community-based care has given me a deep appreciation for the many circumstances people navigate and the resilience they bring with them. I strive to meet each person with curiosity, respect, and compassion while supporting them as they move toward greater stability and personal growth.
Therapy Interests
My clinical interests include trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I am particularly interested in how prolonged stress and difficult experiences can affect the nervous system and appear through somatic symptoms such as tension, fatigue, or other physical responses.
I am also drawn to helping people strengthen resilience, reconnect with their values, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. My work often focuses on helping clients move out of limiting patterns and cultivate a more integrated sense of well-being across the mind, body, and spirit.
