“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” — Maya Angelou

Even if you’re coming to therapy knowing you’ve done the best you can with what you’ve learned, experienced, and had access to to this point, therapy can be a space to slow down, understand the self more deeply, discover new perspectives, and build the support and skills you need to create meaningful change in your life.

My approach to therapy is rooted in your strengths, your unique story, and the belief that you are the author of your own life. I value a therapeutic relationship grounded in compassion, curiosity, and gentle challenge—creating a space where you can feel understood while also feeling encouraged to grow.

Together, we’ll make space to understand where you are, what you need, and where you’d like to go. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel confident enough to be honest and supported enough to try something new.

Therapist Experience

I have experience working with a wide variety of individuals, couples, families. I especially value the opportunity to work alongside teens as they navigate the unique challenges of growing up, developing their identity, building relationships, and finding their voice.

I believe therapy should be a space where you can bring your whole Self. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship grounded in compassion, respect, and genuine curiosity. I am also a Prepare/Enrich Certified Facilitator, a Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 therapist, and a Cognitive Processing Therapy Web 2.0 clinician.

Therapy Interests

My areas of clinical focus include relationship issues, identity exploration, LGBTQ+ issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, and adolescent mental health. My therapeutic approach is integrative and informed by models such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Strategic Family Therapy, and Experiential Therapy.
